The Sun stands at the height of its generosity, giving without measure and asking nothing in return, and as it passes through the heart of Leo it draws close to Sirius and the Great Central Sun. For a handful of days the light that comes through is not only bright but golden, the frequency of ripeness, of the thing that has been growing quietly finally becoming ready.
 
This year the transmission is not focused on the gate itself but on what the gate is for. Two things are asked of you as it opens: that you become able to receive, and that you become willing to radiate. These are the same movement. The number 8 laid on its side is a loop with no end and no beginning, and what moves along it cannot flow in one direction only.
